SELLERLOGIC<\/strong>: Martin, where do you originally come from and what is special about this place?<\/strong><\/p>

I come from Remshagen in the middle of the Oberbergischer Kreis. However, I was born in Engelskirchen \u2013 unlike Remshagen, which has 380 inhabitants, Engelskirchen had a hospital. Later, I also lived there for a while. Engelskirchen is also much more famous. On the one hand, the father of the famous socialist Engels operated a cotton spinning mill there, and on the other hand, Engelskirchen has a real Christmas post office. Children from all over the world can send their wish lists by mail to the Christ Child in Engelskirchen. These letters are also answered at the Christmas post office. After all, up to 135,000 letters from 50 countries arrive each year. I currently live near Cologne right by the Rhine.<\/p>

\"Interview<\/figure><\/div>

How would you describe the company or the products and your tasks to your friends?<\/strong><\/p>

I work as COO (Chief Operations Officer) at SELLERLOGIC. Hmm, elevator pitch, I understand. I am responsible for the Operations department \u2013 this includes the analysis and optimization of internal processes as well as activities, product and service development (Business Development), and compliance management. At SELLERLOGIC, we not only work vertically but also well-networked with each other, thus also horizontally. Silo thinking and actions do not occur here. In addition to my main tasks, I also support Sales in partner management.<\/p>

How did you come to SELLERLOGIC?<\/strong><\/p>

It was a very funny story. SELLERLOGIC was looking for a Partner Manager in the Sales department. The job advertisement went online, I read it and, since I know the Sales manager very well, I applied just for fun. The next day, I received a call from him right away. We arranged a meeting to discuss the details of a possible collaboration. The founder Igor Branopolski was also present on site. We quickly came up with the idea that we could and wanted to achieve much more together. Thus, the time between applying for fun and being hired was very short. I love such situations, and here at SELLERLOGIC, the professional and the individual fit perfectly together.<\/p>

What is your impression of SELLERLOGIC and the team?<\/strong><\/p>

The team is GREAT! It is very well mixed, we are growing very well and in a healthy entrepreneurial way. What unites everyone is the hands-on approach. Everyone is happy to take responsibility, eager to learn, and does so every day. At SELLERLOGIC, there is a very friendly, open atmosphere with a lot of interaction and exchange. The entire team has a very high professional standard alongside the enjoyment of working.<\/p>

What are the best sides of you?<\/strong><\/p>

Curiosity: I enjoy learning throughout my life. Nothing is uninteresting to me. Professionally, as well as privately, I seek new challenges and try many things.<\/p>

Empathetic team player: My credo is \u2013 we are not lone wolves! Recognizing and fostering strengths. Good performance deserves praise.<\/p>

No fear: Often I don’t know what to expect, but I know that I can handle it. Face your challenges and find your way to solve them.<\/p>

Then a brief personal insight: What do you usually do in your free time? What are your hobbies?<\/strong><\/p>

In my free time, there are many things I often waste time on \u2013 from the perspective of others. From my point of view, it’s more about flexibly managing time. No, seriously, I enjoy photography, editing my pictures, only to not print them out and hang them on the wall. I also really enjoy watching series on all channels. And if there’s still some time left, I inhale documentaries, go to the cinema too rarely, and do too little sports.<\/p>

What I love most is water. The more of it, the better. For example, the Mediterranean Sea. Then I swim and snorkel. Additionally, I go boating whenever I have the opportunity.<\/p>

Can people follow you somewhere, for example on Twitter or Instagram?<\/strong><\/p>

Sure. You can find me on Instagram under @mrtn_ndk. I use Twitter very rarely and often just to browse other tweets.<\/p>

What was your last purchase on Amazon?<\/strong><\/p>

I shop very frequently on Amazon because I find the entire process unique. From the buyer’s perspective, it’s brilliant. However, when I think of my wish list, it also makes me dizzy. My last purchases were something uninspiring and something long forgotten. A USB-C extension cable for office use and for a family member, the good old ear wool. Yes, you read that right, it really exists. It protects the ears during walks at the stormy North Sea from wind and cold. Great product.<\/p>

Tell us one of your quirks.<\/strong><\/p>

I can name three:<\/p>

  1. Curiosity \u2013 interest in everything and everyone.<\/li>
  2. Sometimes rather 120% than 80:20.<\/li>
  3. Wine lover \u2013 I drink little, but buy a lot…<\/li><\/ol><\/div>
